Arsenal are reportedly looking to replace Nacho Monreal with Liverpool’s Alberto Moreno.

Gunners boss Unai Emery is believed to be looking to overhaul is squad during the next two transfer windows, and sees left-back as one of the positions that need strengthening.

According to a story in the Mirror, the north London club will allow the veteran Spanish defender to leave when his contract expires in the summer.

They claim that Emery, who worked with Moreno at Sevilla, is confident he can get the best out of the 26-year-old despite his struggled at Anfield.

Moreno has fallen way down the pecking order at Anfield following the arrival of Andy Robertson, and will be allowed to leave by Jürgen Klopp.
