Alan Pulido is one of those footballers who loves the spotlight.
Though the striker has yet to score against Atlas in the derby, however, Pulido has vowed to change that on Saturday night.
The 27-year-old knows that a goal in the Clásico Tapatío will cause Atlas supporters to hate him.
“I think América’s fans hate me more now because I’ve scored important goals against them.
“But as of Saturday, Atlas supporters will begin to hate me.”
Despite being empty on the scoresheet against their rivals, Pulido has fond memories of the Clásico.
In the end, Chivas would become the Liga MX champions.
“At the end of the day, in the Clásicos we have played, we have won the most.
“My favourite memory was in the Liguilla (Clausura 2017) where we eliminated them and we also won.
“That is the Clásico that I remember the most because that helped us to win the title.
“It will always be there, I feel very happy, and hopefully, we can now repeat the feat.”
The match will kick off from the Estadio Akron this Saturday at 10pm EST.
