After signing a €5m deal with Barcelona from Las Palmas last season, 17-year-old Pedri went directly back on loan to the second-tier side.
Despite his young age, the offensive midfielder has shone in Segunda División this season.
With a number of impressive performances, Sport are reporting that Dutch giants Ajax are interested after putting up three goals and four assists in 26 Segunda División appearances.
Sport also reported last week that Barcelona plan to include Pedri in their first-team squad for the summer pre-season, though those plans could change with the football season being majorly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition, it’s believed that Pedri has a clause in his contract that only allows him to play in first or second-division sides, which would rule out featuring for Barcelona’s ‘B’ side.
