Agent reveals Kylian Mbappé was offered to Barcelona this summer | OneFootball

An agent with ties to Barcelona has revealed that he offered the club Kylian Mbappé this summer.

The World Cup winner joined Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco in June 2017 and has since gone on to become one of the world’s best goalscorers.

His 13 goals helped Les Parisiens to their seventh Ligue 1 title, and this term the teenager has raced out of the blocks netting 11 goals in just nine domestic appearances.

But it could have been all so different according to one agent, who claims that he told the Blaugrana that Mbappé was available to sign over the summer and that the player wanted to join the Camp Nou club.

“On the August 5 I offered Mbappé to Barça,” Josep Maria Minguella told La Porteria.

“They didn’t respond and now I believe they committed an error which will impact Barcelona for the next 10 years.

“His father told me that Kylian would’ve loved to have played alongside Leo Messi.”
