Daniele Rugani’s agent has admitted several English clubs are interested in signing his client from Juventus.
The young centre back has struggled to establish himself fully in the Bianconeri first team since signing from Empoli in 2015.
The Italy international has played just 12 games this term for Massimiliano Allegri’s side and stories have circulated that Arsenal could lodge a bid in the summer.
Rugani’s representative Davide Torchia has conceded that the Gunners have previously shown their interest but there has been nothing concrete just yet.
“Rugani is an international player. He could play in any league, so also in the UK,” Torchia told The Sun.
“He’s young. Elegant in the way of playing. I know that various top European clubs follow him. Some are English.
“Arsenal? In the past, some seasons ago, we spoke with them. At the moment there is no official contact with them.
“He is happy at Juventus. He does not want to leave Turin. And he hopes to play continuously. However, if they were to receive a big offer for him, maybe he could be sold.”
