Real Madrid defender Achraf Hakimi will reportedly return to the club this summer after verbally agreeing a new five-year deal.
Hakimi has spent the last two seasons on loan with Borussia Dortmund, impressing both domestically and in Europe under manager Lucien Favre.
According to Marca, Zinedine Zidane has told the 21-year-old he intends to rely on him next season and insisted on his return.
Zidane was the manager that Hakimi his first start in professional football, and promoted him directly from Castilla to the first team as a teenager.
Hakimi, meanwhile, feels positive about his future at the Santiago Bernabéu and ‘feels indebted’ to the manager for showing faith in him.
The Morocco international has two years left on his current deal.
