AC Milan are reportedly set for talks with Juventus over a summer bid for wantaway defender Mehdi Benatia.
The Morocco international has played just five times this season and has been angling for a move away from the Bianconeri this month.
Arsenal were believed to be keen on the centre back, but a story in Tuttosport has insisted that Juve will not let Benatia leave during the winter window as they have no targets available to fill any void left by his departure.
Max Allegri’s side will let the 31-year-old go at the end of the current campaign though and would accept a fee in the region of €12m.
The Rossoneri are thought to be on the hunt for reinforcements to add depth at centre back and will look to start talks with their Juve counterparts as soon as possible.
The two clubs have a good working relationship, with Gonzalo Higuaín and Leonardo Bonucci moving between go between them recently.
