After four years in west London it looks as if the Spanish midfielder will be off to Italy
AC Milan have reportedly been in contact with Cesc Fábregas’s representatives with the Chelsea midfielder edging a step closer to leaving San Siro.
The Spain international has spent the past four years at Stamford Bridge and was a regular in their 2016/17 title-winning season.
Slowly though, the 31-year-old has slipped down the pecking order in west London and has featured only three times in the Premier League this term under Maurizio Sarri.
The Rossoneri have been heavily linked with Fabregas’ signature for some time, but now journalist Antonio Vitiello, who has close links to the club, has confirmed that lawyers from Milan have been in contact with the midfielder.
He says that the club have offered the former Barcelona man a two-and-a-half year deal in Serie A
