AC Milan are looking to bolster their midfield next season and could look to Sassuolo to solve their depth problems.
According to Calciomercato, Milan lead Inter and Napoli in the race to sign 23-year-old Italian international Stefano Sensi.
Riccardo Montolivo, Andrea Bertolacci, and Jose Mauri are all rumored to leave this summer, meaning that Milan will be in the market for at least one high-priced midfielder.
According to the report, Milan sent scouts to monitor Sensi during Italy’s 6-0 Euro 2020 qualifying win against Lichtenstein, where Sensi scored his first international goal in his second career cap.
Sensi made his international debut in November when Italy beat the United States 1-0. He’s set to be available for €25m.
