Saka shines

Hale End has always been a talent factory in London and another star looks to have been born.

Rewarded with a start – alongside academy graduates Emile Smith Rowe and Joe Willock – Bukayo Saka grabbed his opportunity with both hands.

The 18-year-old was a constant bright spark and took his second-half goal brilliantly. Not to mention the two assists!

With Nicolas Pépé juustt struggling to open his account, there are worse players to be inspired by.

We’ve figured it out. LMFAO and Lil Jon were talking about Arsenal – not alcohol – in their chart topping hit ‘Shots’.

No matter who is selected, what formation is used, they always allow the opposition to pepper attempts on their goal.

It was 25 against Liverpool. 31 against Watford. And now 24 against Frankfurt who currently sit 9th in the Bundesliga.

They boast an excellent frontline but must do something about this porous defence. Please!

No time for Torreira?

In Lucas Torreira, the Gunners were seemingly signing the perfect player in terms of age, stature and profile.

The little Uruguayan posts ridiculous tackle and interception numbers, while also providing heart and controlled bite to a soft centre.

Yet Unai Emery continues to use him in this strange box-to-box role that doesn’t suit him at all – minimising his best assets.

Does he genuinely prefer Granit Xhaka at the base of midfield or is there more to the story? Either way it’s a problem.
