Deadline day is here!
But what’s in store? Here are 10 of the biggest deals that could go through on Friday.
to Manchester United
Salomón Rondón? Willian José? Islam Slimani? Josh King? And, most recently, Adolfo Gaich of San Lorenzo.
Manchester United are being linked with pretty much every striker on the planet but still haven’t brought someone in to help them cope with Marcus Rashford’s injury.
Will they get one over the line and who will it be?
to Borussia Dortmund
This one looks like it’s definitely happening!
Can will return to Germany after five-and-a-half years abroad, joining on loan initially but with Dortmund having an obligation to make things permanent.
to Lazio or Spurs or Inter
Will Chelsea let Giroud go? Rumour has it, he will boycott training on Friday in an attempt to force a move through.
The striker needs to play regularly for his Euro 2020 chance and has been linked with Lazio, Inter and Tottenham.
to Chelsea
Mertens’ contract is up at the end of the season and Chelsea still appear to hope an agreement can be reached.
Napoli, though, are reluctant to do business. Will the Belgian try to force his way out?
to Atlético Madrid
This one looks dead in the water after Atlético insisted they wouldn’t pay PSG’s €20m asking price for a player who is available for nothing in June.
But is it? We know these things can change very quickly indeed and Cavani appears desperate for it to happen.
to RB Leipzig
SC Freiburg will be reluctant to sell Germany defender Koch, but Leipzig have the financial power to tempt them into a rethink.
The Bundesliga leaders would reportedly have to pay €20m for the centre-back but it’s an area where they’ve had injuries and a deal isn’t out of the question.
to Atlético Madrid
The return! Carrasco left Atlético for Dalian Yifang two years ago.
But now he could head back? Various reports claim the Belgian is already in Madrid, with a loan deal looking likely.
to Arsenal
Arsenal signed Pablo Marí on Wednesday but they aren’t quite done there.
A move for versatile defender Cédric Soares is expected to go through on Friday, with Southampton happy to sanction a deal.
to a Premier League club
Hertha BSC have signed Krzysztof Piątek and have agreed terms for Matheus Cunha. Something’s got to give.
According to reports in Germany, five Premier League clubs are interested in signing striker Davie Selke.
Will Aston Villa, Brighton, Newcastle, Watford or Bournemouth seal a move for the German?
to West Ham or Crystal Palace
One of the stars of the Championship is set to move to the big leagues.
Crystal Palace led the chase on Thursday but it’s Friday morning and David Ornstein claims West Ham have now agreed a deal worth a total of £22m.
