Weâre deep into the summer transfer window right now.
And sometimes, itâs difficult to see the wood from the trees. But fear not â weâre here to sift through all of Thursdayâs rumours for your delectation.
Letâs have a look at whatâs bothering the back pages.
Real Madrid are ready to launch âOperation 200â. Thatâs their attempt to raise âŹ200m in order to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United. That will include the sales of Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Dani Ceballos.
Pogbaâs agent meanwhile, Mino Raiola, has refused to rule out the possibility of the World Cup winner re-joining Juventus this summer, with AS claiming that the Bianconeri are ready to add the United man to their already stacked midfield.
Kieran Tierneyâs move to Arsenal is fast becoming the transfer saga of the summer. But according to one report in the Scotsman this morning, the Celtic could actually now be on his way to Tottenham.
The Gunners are yet to make an offer that reaches the Bhoys valuation, but Spurs are apparently willing to splash âŹ35m on the man they believe can replace Danny Rose at left-back.
So it turns out Neymar wonât be going to Barcelona after all. Nope, according to Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian forward has now âoffered himselfâ to Manchester United as his supposed return to Camp Nou is now off.
They claim that Neymar is so desperate to leave Paris Saint-Gerrmain that he has told the Uniter hierarchy that he would be willing to join if they can find enough money to make a formal bid to PSG.
Of course, lads.
Another glorious piece of United guff from the Mirror claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaerâs side are now the new favourites to sign Roma teenager Nicolo Zaniolo â this despite the player and his agent insisting on numerous occasions that heâs more than happy at Stadio Olimpico and will be staying for at least another 12 months.
Kieran Trippier completes his surprise move to Atlético Madrid, Steve Bruce was confirmed as the new Newcastle manager and West Ham confirmed a club-record deal to sign Sebastian Haller.
It was a busy one.
