Raúl Jiménez has joined Wolves permanently in a deal worth almost €40m which makes him the club’s record signing.
The Mexican has made himself a fan favourite at Molineux, where he is currently on loan from Benfica.
That move will be made permanent during the summer on a four-year deal, with Wolves forking over €38m for the 27-year-old’s services, having also paid €3m as a loan fee.
It will prove money well spent for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side if Jiménez maintains the kind of form he has shown to date.
In his debut campaign in English football, the striker has scored 12 goals, while also providing seven assists along the way.
Jiménez usurps Adama Traoré as the club’s record signing after he joined last summer for a fee of €21m.
