Valencia have completed the signing of Maxi Gómez from Celta Vigo.
The Uruguayan striker moves to the Mestalla in a deal worth €14.5m which sees Santi Mina and Jorge Saenz moving in the opposite direction.

Gómez has signed a contract until 2024 and his release clause is set at €140m.
The 22-year-old forward joined Celta from Defensor in the summer of 2017 and went on to score 31 goals in 75 games for the Galician club.
He was linked with switch to Barcelona earlier this summer and was also the subject of intense interest from West Ham, but he becomes Valencia’s eighth signing as the summer as they prepare for their return to the Champions League next season.
