What is the UEFA Nations League Finals?

A knockout tournament involving the four group winners of the top-ranked League A: Hosts Portugal, England, Netherlands and Switzerland.

When will it take place?

Semi-final 1 is happening on 5 June 2019, with semi-final 2 taking place the following day on 6 June.

The final will be on 9 June, and there will also be a third-placed play-off on the same day.

Where is it taking place?

In lovely Portugal.

Porto’s Estádio do Dragão and the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques in Guimaraes are the two host stadiums.

Does this bear any relation to Euro 2020 qualifying?

Only that these four teams have been placed in five-team groups rather than six.

The last four Euro 2020 places go to the winners of mini-tournaments between the top four-ranked teams in each of the four UEFA Nations League groupings (A–D), but this is entirely separate to the UEFA Nations League Finals.
