Leroy Sané benched for Man City against old club Schalke

Leroy Sané has been named among the Manchester City substitutes for Wednesday’s Champions League last-16 first leg clash at Schalke.

Sané joined City from Schalke in the summer of 2016 and will be making his first return since leaving Gelsenkirchen.

Elsewhere, former City defender Matija Nastasić starts for Schalke, while former City youngster Rabbi Matondo is on the bench.
