Marco Giamapolo has officially left Sampdoria and is rumoured to be on the verge of becoming the new Milan coach.
Giampaolo led the Bluerchiati to ninth in Serie A last season and impressed everyone on the peninsula with their progressive style of play.
But now after three years in the role, Samp have confirmed that the 51-year-old has resigned from his position.
Although there has been no word from the Rossoneri as yet, it’s expected to be announced that Giampaolo will replace Gennaro Gattuso at San Siro in the coming days.
As for Samp, former Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco is rumoured to be taking over as their new coach.
