Real Madrid have confirmed that Ferland Mendy has a muscle injury and will likely miss their Liga game with Osasuna on Wednesday.
Mendy has been plagued with injuries since his arrival from Lyon in the summer, playing just twice for Zinedine Zidane’s side.
And now it’s been confirmed by the club that the France international has picked up a thigh strain.
Although Real Madrid don’t confirm the length of his absence, reports in Spain suggest he will definitely miss the Osasuna game and will likely be out for the Madrid derby on Saturday as well.
Marcelo has also been out for the past two games, meaning Nacho could well play at left-back tomorrow.
