Rayo Vallecano have been the first team relegated from LaLiga after a 4-1 loss away to Levante.
A victory over Real Madrid had offered brief hope of survival but they have now been officially relegated.

Rayo lasted just one year in the top flight, having been promoted as champions last summer.
Huesca will join them before the end of the weekend if they fail to win at home to Valencia.
