Davie Selke is a Werder Bremen player again.
The striker, who controversially left the club for RB Leipzig in 2015, has returned from Hertha BSC.
Selke had been linked with a move to the Premier League, with the likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa reportedly interested.
However, he has moved to Bremen on an 18-month loan which will become a permanent deal.
As long as Bremen remain in the Bundesliga, they will pay over €10m for the striker.
Hertha BSC have signed RB Leipzig forward Matheus Cunha for €18m as Selke’s replacement.
The Berlin club have now spent almost €115m since the summer.
