Rade Krunić has been diagnosed with a fracture to his foot following medical tests, Milan have confirmed.
The midfielder has had a tough time of it this season after arriving from Empoli last summer, making just four league starts to date.
He is now set to be out for at least a month after the Rossoneri announced that he has suffered a stress fracture to the third metatarsal of his right foot.
Further tests are scheduled for early March as he prepares for a period of ‘conservative treatment’.
The injury leaves Milan even more short of central midfield options, with Lucas Biglia also currently sidelined.
