Lionel Messi returns to the Barcelona starting line-up from injury for Inter’s visit to the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.
After aggravating a recent injury upon his return last week, the captain had been expected to be replaced by Carles Pérez but has been picked by Ernesto Valverde.
Injuries to both Jordi Alba and Junior Firpo mean that Nélson Semedo starts at left-back, with Sergi Roberto at right-back.
Inter’s only major absentee is striker Romelu Lukaku, meaning South American duo Lautaro Martínez and Alexis Sánchez lead the line.
Both sides drew their opening games of the group phase.
