João Moutinho pens new Wolves contract | OneFootball

What a Saturday it has been for João Moutinho and Wolves fans.

Just hours after his stunner helped his side en route to a 2-1 win at Bournemouth, things got even better.

The Midlands club announced on Saturday evening that the midfielder has extended his stay at the club until 2022.

“It was a very easy decision because I feel very good here. It’s a big club that wants to do something good and I want to do my best to help,” Moutinho told the club’s official website.

“We did a great job last season and this season we’ll try to do better. That’s what we’re going to do.

“I feel very good. We won today, a very important win, and I signed a new contract. I hope to help the new for the new two, three years.”

Moutinho has been a key presence for Wolves since his arrival, winning the Fans’ Player of the Year award last season.
