Fifa have released their 55-man shortlist of players nominated for the 2019 FIFPRO World 11.

The Premier League leads the way for the first time since 2009, with 21 players who ply their trade selected. LaLiga has 20 players on the list.

Brazil is the most-represented nation, with seven of their national team players included, while Barcelona (11) and Real Madrid (nine) leading the clubs.

Over 23,000 professionals have voted and the XI will be revealed on Monday 23 September.
