David Luiz is reportedly demanding a shock move to Arsenal.
The Chelsea defender did not train on Thursday in an attempt to force a transfer, L’Équipe report.
Arsenal sold centre-back Laurent Koscielny to Bordeaux on Tuesday and now want a defender before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
David Luiz’s agent, Kia Jorrabchian, also represents Arsenal technical director Edu.
The report claims tensions have grown between Luiz and Chelsea, who do not want to sell the defender, leading to his refusal to train.
The 32-year-old is said to be “determined” to move but Chelsea, who currently have a transfer ban, would have no opportunity to replace him.
