Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has been called up to the England senior squad for the first time.
The 18-year-old was due to be part of the under-21 squad but injury withdrawals have seen him earn an unexpected promotion.
"It's been a crazy day..." 😅 Congratulations on your first #ThreeLions call-up, Callum Hudson-Odoi!–
Luke Shaw, John Stones, Fabian Delph and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have all been forced to pull out and earlier on Monday, Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse was drafted into Gareth Southgate’s squad as one of the replacements.
England host the Czech Republic in a Euro 2020 qualifier on 22 March before travelling to face Montenegro three days later.
Hudson-Odoi has made 19 appearances for Chelsea this season but is yet to start a Premier League game.
