Kurzawa has just six months left on his contract and is available for free this summer, however Arsenal are hopeful of recruiting him this month – without paying a fee.

With Kieran Tierney out until March and Sead Kolašinac struggling with muscular problems, the 27-year-old is viewed as a sensible addition to the squad.

The report also claims that Arsenal hope to do ‘more incoming business’ in January and are working on three to four deals.
