Arsenal have confirmed that Alexandre Lacazette has injured his left ankle.
The Frenchman is expected to be ruled out for the rest of the month and will make his return to action in October.
According to a statement released via the club’s official website on Friday, Lacazette has been playing with the injury for a number of weeks and has now been advised to rest in order to regain full fitness.
But in better news for the Gunners, Kieran Tierney, Héctor Bellerín, Rob Holding and Dinos Mavropanos have all returned to full training.
Unai Emery’s side travel to face Watford in the Premier League on Sunday.
