Arsenal have confirmed that Henrik Mkhitaryan will be out for the next six weeks with a broken metatarsal.
The Armenia international has enjoyed something of a renaissance under Unai Emery this season, scoring four goals in 14 appearances.
But the club have revealed that the attacker will be out until February with a foot injury after he limped off in their EFL Cup defeat to Tottenham last week.
It means Mkhitaryan will miss key games against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City
