The EFL have named their Team of the Weekend for matchday 35, with one place going to Aston Villa’s Conor Hourihane.

Hourihane was superb as Villa hammered Derby 4-0 and was picked in a midfield three alongside Portsmouth’s Ben Close and Ezgkan Alioski of Leeds.

Up top, the in-demand Hull winger Jarrod Bowen was picked after he netted both in a 2-0 win over Birmingham.

Oxford United’s Jerome Sinclair, another man who hit two at the weekend, also took his place in attack with Bristol Rovers’ Jonson Clarke-Harris in a central role.

Arsenal loanee Emiliano Martinez was named in goal following his exceptional performance for Reading against Ipswich, while Luke Woolfenden of League Two Swindon was also included.
