A goal from Pablo Sarabia wasn’t enough for Paris Saint-Germain at NĂŒrnberg as they were pegged back in a friendly stalemate.

After a 6-1 win over Dynamo Dresden last time, the French champions were less convincing this time out on German soil.

The dangerous Kylian Mbappé twice hit the post in the first half before his side took the lead through a new arrival.

Mbappé was, of course, involved as he left a defender for dead with a cheeky nutmeg before teeing up Sarabia to score.

A host of changes in the second half killed the momentum and it cost Thomas Tuchel’s men when the hosts levelled through a penalty from Enrico Valentini with 20 minutes remaining.

With Neymar absent again, PSG failed to regain the lead and had to settle for a draw ahead of departing for China to continue pre-season preparations.
