Karim Benzema and VinĂcius JĂșnior were both dangerous but missed multiple chances to give Madrid the upper hand in the first half at the BernabĂ©u.
Their paid for their mistakes within five minutes of the second half.
A brilliant run from Ousmane Dembélé tore the hosts apart before Luis Suårez smartly finished past Keylor Navas.
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen made a world class save to keep his side a goal up just moment later, denying a Sergio Reguilón header.
And Barça didnât look back. RaphaĂ«l Varane scored an own goal as he looked to stop SuĂĄrez from reaching a low cross, then the Uruguayan scored a Panenka after winning a penalty from Casemiro.
