Chivas’ four-game unbeaten streak came to a disheartening end on Saturday night as they fell to León 4-3 on the road.

León came out of the gates running as the home side scored early in the 19th minute thanks to a José Juan Macías penalty kick.

In the 38th minute, Alan Pulido tied the game up for Chivas at one apiece, but the lead didn’t last as seven minutes later Ángel Mena headed home a perfect cross from Jean Meneses to put he home side up 2-1 at the half.

Macías bagged his second of the game from the penalty line in the 64th minute giving the home side the commanding 3-1 lead.

After receiving a great through ball down the middle, Yairo Moreno made it 4-1 as he was easily able to score on Antonio Rodriguez, who had a long night.

Pulido was able to cut the deficit to 4-2 in the 79th minute as he scored on a penalty kick.

Despite being down Chivas never gave up and was able to get within a goal late in the 95th minute when Alexis Vega was able to make it 4-3.

In the end, Chivas’ magic comeback was cut short and they dropped their first game since July 21 when they dropped their Apertura opener to Santos Laguna.
