There is some fine-tuning needed at Juventus this summer.

Improvements can be made and that starts with moving out players who are no longer needed.

Paulo Dybala

He’s coming off the back of a very disappointing season and is a figure of frustration more often than not these days.

Struggling for a clear role in the side, even after four years in Turin it isn’t clear what his best position is, he looks lost too often.

The Argentine is still a valuable player and would command a considerable fee in the market – it is time to cash in.

Gonzalo Higuaín

When you are sent on loan to two separate sides just two years after a massive fee was spent on you, then you should get the message.

Higuaín is no longer wanted or needed at the Allianz Stadium and even though his old mentor Maurizio Sarri has taken over, it shouldn’t be enough to salvage his Juventus career.

Nothing he showed at Milan or Chelsea gave any indication that he can still be an important piece for the Bianconeri.

Sami Khedira

The 32-year-old spent much too long out of action last season through injuries and one worrying heart issue.

While he does have the knack for coming up with some big goals here and there, it isn’t enough to keep him at the club given concerns about his fitness.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Emre Can are both capable of fulfilling the same midfield role and doing it better than the former Real Madrid man.

Higuaín isn’t the only forgotten man returning to Turin this summer following a disappointing loan spell.

Expectations were high when the Croatian arrived at Fiorentina and received the No. 10 jersey but disappointing form and a cruciate ligament injury meant his time in Tuscany was miserable.

Teams are unlikely to want to rake a risk on a man who has suffered serious injuries to both knees but if Juve find a buyer, they should say goodbye to a player whose body continues to fail him.

With three years left to run on his Juventus contract and being a player who can change a game in a flash, an exit appears unlikely.

But in his first season after his move from Bayern Munich was made permanent, the Brazilian was a disaster, suffering four separate injuries and a four-game suspension for an elbowing and spitting incident.

Given that shipping him on could help fund a move for Federico Chiesa and offer opportunities to others, it should be considered, even if he’ll surely be given another chance next season.
