But on Monday, the Italian striker made us all feel very old by turning the ripe old age of 29.

His time at Manchester City also provided us with plenty of hilarity off the pitch, such as this tussle with a training bib.

He’s also had some memorable moments while playing for his country, like this goal against England at the 2014 World Cup.

He spent the second half of last season at Marseille, where he did this on his debut.

Balotelli is currently a free agent and he has a typically interesting way of getting in shape during pre-season.

Recent rumours have linked him with a move to Brazilian club Flamengo and we hope to see him back on the pitch again some time soon.
