Premier League referee Mike Dean has become one of English football’s most prized assets.
Dean became the first Premier League referee to brandish 100 red cards earlier this season and it’s rare that the 50-year-old doesn’t add a bit of extra entertainment to a game he’s refffing.
On Monday night, Dean was spotted in the away end as his beloved Tranmere Rovers took on Forest Green in the League Two play-off semi-final.
And he was even happier at full-time after a 1-1 draw booked Rovers’ trip to Wembley, where they will face Newport County in the play-off final later this month.
What a man.
