The 2019 Premier League deadlock was broken by Jamie Vardy in New Year’s Day’s early kick-off.
Everton and Leicester played out a drab first half at Goodison Park but Vardy opened the scoring in the 58th minute when he capitalised on some poor defending and slotted the ball left-footed past Jordan Pickford.
