Fluminense have confirmed that veteran defender Gum will leave the club next month after over a decade of service.
The 32-year-old has failed to agree a new contract with the club and will therefore leave when his current deal ends in January.
Gum has enjoyed a fruitful 10-year stint with the Rio side, winning the Campeonato Brasileiro twice in 2010 and 2012.
He leaves having played over 230 times in domestic competitions, scoring 13 goals.
