Borussia Dortmund fans have given their heroes an incredible welcome back to the city after winning the Revierderby.
Goals from Thomas Delaney and Jadon Sancho saw Dortmund win away at Schalke on Saturday afternoon. The hosts equalised as Daniel Caligiuri scored a second half penalty but Sancho struck the winner with 15 minutes to go.
As Dortmund returned to their training ground, fans were ready and waiting to welcome them.
Dortmund’s ultras had been banned from attending the game at the Veltins Arena but made sure they were still heard as the coach pulled into Dortmund’s training ground.
Summer signing Axel Witsel couldn’t get enough of his first derby win and joined the crowd for a few chants.
The win kept Dortmund nine points clear of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga.
