He’s only gone and done it!
Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella netted from the penalty spot against Udinese on Saturday, meaning he has now scored in 11 consecutive Serie A matches.
The 35-year-old has therefore matched the record set by Gabriel Batistuta when he was at Fiorentina back in 1994.
Quagliarella is now on 15 for the season, and he will get a shot at breaking Batigol’s record when Samp host Napoli next weekend.
