He won the Champions League in 2011, scoring this incredible goal against Manchester United in the final.

He also won the 2008 European Championship and the 2010 World Cup with Spain, netting 59 goals in 98 appearances for his country.

In 2014 he left Spain for the United States, where he joined MLS franchise New York City FC.

And in 2019, the striker made the final move of his career when he joined compatriot Andrés Iniesta at Japanese club Vissel Kobe.

What a player. He will be missed.
