A quintuple? Five saves in a row? Probably not. Until now, that is.

In goal for Celtic’s Scottish Cup tie against Airdrieonians on Saturday, Scott Bain pulled off an astounding five saves in a row just before half-time.

The stops helped Brendan Rodgers’ men keep hold of their one-goal lead heading into the break.

Scott Sinclair, who scored the opener, doubled the Bhoys lead on 56 minutes before American international Timothy Weah sealed the win with a goal on his Celtic debut.
