Barcelona have made a touching gesture to Anthony Borges â a survivor of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida.
Borges was just 15-years-old when an armed gunman opened fire and murdered 17 pupils at the school in February 2018.
The young man was praised for his heroism after he helped 20 of his classmates take cover in a classroom by holding the door shut.
But as a result of his bravery, he was shot five times in the back and almost died from his injuries.
In 2016, Borges was a student at the Barça Academy in Lauderhill, Florida and the club have followed his recovery and offered support where possible.
And now he will be guest of honour at Camp Nou when Lionel Messi and co take on Lyon in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
A beautiful end to a tragic story.
