Liverpool reclaim top spot, Cardiff escape the relegation zone with an incredible win and Marco Silva has an unhappy âhomecomingâ.
Hereâs your rundown of all the goings on from the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
âď¸ Crystal Palace 1-1 West Ham
đ Huddersfield 1-2 Arsenal
đ Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth
đ˛ Southampton 1-2 Cardiff
đ Watford 1-0 Everton
So much for Liverpool getting nervous and not having the bottle to see off Manchester City.
After seeing them drop four points in their last two games, many started to question JĂźrgen Kloppâs side. That always seemed ridiculous, considering how good theyâd looked for much of the season so far.
Normal service resumed on Saturday and Anfield were treated to a nice easy win. And another clean sheet. This title race is going to the wire.
Liverpoolâs third goal was the best of the afternoon. A beautiful looped outside of the boot pass from Naby KeĂŻta released Roberto Firmino, who chased the ball into a tight angle on the edge of the box.
Naturally, Mohamed Salah was in the right place at the right time. Firmino found him with a smart backheel and Salah cooly took a touch and passed the ball into the far corner.
Arsenal end away day woes
However, the Gunners did allow Huddersfield to score their first goal in over 10 hours of football.
