We have an enormous weekend ahead of us.

A blockbuster at Old Trafford, trouble for Spurs and, for once, we look at one game from outside of the Premier League.

Game of the Weekend

Manchester United v Liverpool

A rejuvenated Manchester United side, a Premier League title-chasing Liverpool. Old Trafford will be rocking.

Solksjaer’s United suffered their first setback in the Champions League just under two weeks ago but bounced back in style to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

Paul Pogba is in incredible form, so is Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial should be fit again to link up with them.

Having already beaten Spurs, Arsenal, and Chelsea under Solksjaer, United could now deliver a massive blow to Liverpool’s title hopes.

As for the Reds, a win sends them top of the table and three points clear of Manchester City with 11 games to go.

They gave absolutely everything in the 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich on Tuesday. Can they refocus and recuperate immediately?

If so, they’ll end the weekend with a hand on the title. If not, it may just be out of reach.

Potential upset

Burnley v Tottenham

After a truly awful first half of the season, Burnley have quietly gone on a seven-game unbeaten run.

In fact, only the two Manchester clubs have won more points than Burnley since 29 December.

What changed? Well, Tom Heaton returned to fitness and replaced Joe Hart in goal seven games ago.

With Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood both in fine form in front of goal – they’ve scored three times each in Burnley’s last three games – Tottenham could be in for a nasty shock at Turf Moor.

Easiest three points

West Ham v Fulham

Now if there’s anyone who can mess up an open goal, it’s West Ham. The Hammers are great when you expect them to be bad, they’re awful when you expect them to win.

But we’re saying it anyway. Failing to beat Fulham at home would be disastrous.

Fulham have two points away from home in 13 games all season, scoring eight and conceding a whopping 32.

It’s by far the worst away record in any of England’s top four flights and we can’t see it ending.

Keep an eye on

The EFL Cup final

Is this cheating? It may not be a Premier League game but we’re going to include it anyway.

After the big one – Man Utd v Liverpool – on Sunday, there’s another big one. A Wembley cup final.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are aiming to pick up the season’s first piece of silverware for the second year running.

In the opposite dugout, Maurizio Sarri will be hoping to win the first trophy of his career and avoid the sack at Chelsea. At the very least, he’ll want an improvement on the 6-0 defeat to City two weeks ago.

Given everything surrounding the game, it can’t be missed.
