After a winter break and just four fixtures last weekend, the Premier League schedule is finally back to normal.

Here’s everything to look out for …

Game of the weekend

Chelsea v Tottenham

Games between these two are never dull, but there will be added spice to this clash come Saturday lunchtime.

Chelsea and Tottenham are in fierce competition for a top four finish and while losing shouldn’t prove too costly, momentum at this stage is crucial.

The Blues have been surprisingly poor at home and will be keen to correct their defeat against Manchester United, while Spurs are seriously short on attacking options following injury to Heung-min Son.

You can rely on two things: goals and somebody being sent off.

Another stormer

Leicester v Manchester City

Manchester City have been rocked by their Champions League ban and have little to play for domestically with Liverpool so far ahead.

Leicester, however, have plenty to play for but are experiencing a small post-New Year hangover, winning just one of their last five games.

Just one point separates the two teams and their playing styles normally end up in entertainment. We’ve definitely jinxed it now.

Easiest three points

Liverpool v West Ham

Sorry, West Ham fans. Liverpool may have lost in Madrid but we’re expecting business as usual come Monday night.

The Anfield outfit are 25 points clear of Manchester City in second, still unbeaten and showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.

Moyes’ side, meanwhile, are loitering dangerously in 18th place with two draws and three defeats in their last five Premier League games.

This could get ugly.

Keep an eye on

Sheffield United v Brighton

That sound you hear is the Champions League anthem slowly making its way to Brammall Lane.

Sheffield United are flying under Chris Wilder and with fifth place potentially offering a way into the European big league, they won’t need any extra motivation.

Brighton have been quietly impressive this season but they are without a win in 2020, and the Blades will be smelling blood.

If results go their way, they could even end this weekend in the top four. You love to see it.
