We’re nearly a month into the transfer window and if Thursday’s gossip pages are to be believed, clubs all over Europe are getting desperate in their attempts to bring in fresh blood.

There’s a whole host of candidates being mentioned on Thursday but the Telegraph reckon that Steven Gerrard and Patrick Vieira are the front-runners with Sean Dyche also being considered. So, essentially, no one knows a thing.
