Bayern Munich have finally got a right-back, signing Álvaro Odriozola from Real Madrid.
The Spaniard joins on loan until the end of the season.
A right-back has been earmarked as a position to target all month, with Hansi Flick eager to to use Benjamin Pavard as a centre-back.
Joshua Kimmich has already been pushed into midfield this season, leaving Pavard to hold down the right-back spot on his own.
Odriozola impressed at Real Sociedad, where he made his career breakthrough, before moving to Madrid. The Spanish giants paid a reported €30m fee for the defender in 2018 but things haven’t gone smoothly for him since then.
This season, the 24-year-old has featured just five times in all competitions.
