Bonucci has deputised as Juve captain in the absence of Giorgio Chiellini this season and done a fine job, with the Bianconeri currently top of the Serie A table.
And now the 32-year-old has been rewarded for his efforts with a new contract which could well see him finish his career in Turin. His previous deal was set to expire in 2023.
Since joining Juve in 2010/11, Bonucci has made 376 appearances – more than any other player at the club.
After spending the 2017/18 season at AC Milan, the Italy international returned to the Allianz Stadium in the summer of 2018 and helped the club to its eighth successive Scudetto.
