Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish has taken to social media to apologise to the public for his behaviour in exiting isolation to party with friends.

Over the weekend, the 24-year-old admitted ‘getting a call from a friend and stupidly deciding to go out’ despite quarantine restrictions being in place.

A Range Rover, reportedly belonging to Grealish, was pictured after crashing into two stationary cars, with the player also photographed at the scene in a Birmingham suburb.

Grealish has now issued an apology via a Twitter video in which he acknowledged his poor behaviour and urged people to avoid making the mistake he had.

The crash took place at Dickens Heath and incredibly came just a day after the player had issued a plea to the public to stay indoors.

Do as I say, not as I do then Jack?

Aston Villa have yet to make a public comment on the incident.
